Final day of internal group league on Saturday.  We are finishing with a 1k (obstacle) course.  Unfortunately the stadium have an issue with the water so we wont be able to get the steeplechase water jump out, we will make some other obstacles around the course to break the rhythm.

A great comp so far with Tess out in front in the ladies with great competition behind her for 2nd place.  In the lads Finn has a narrow lead from a number of competitors so still all to play for.  See you Saturday.

Hi all,

To finish what has been an unusual season with limited race opportunity we are going to have a little fun training competition within our pods.  The winners will get a lovely NEW Crusaders beanie hat as pictured below.
Events are:
Saturday 26th:       200 mtrs      Shot putt          Plank for time
Tuesday 29th:      500mtrs         Long Jump        Wall squat for time
Saturday 3rd October:  100 mtrs     1k race : Hopefully including steeplecahse over water:(we need to inspect the hurdle at the water ; if not fit for purpose we will do it over 1 k with 5 low hurdles - We will have lifeguards on standby if water passess!!!)

The format is:  Male and Female groups.  1st in each event gets 12 pts, 2nd 10pts, 3rd 9pts, 4th 8 pts and so on.  The Male & Female athlete with the most accumulated points at the end gets a beanie each (you don't have to share the beanie!!).

After the 3rd October we will commence our General Physical Preparation phase of training.

Best
John
