Athletics Leader Training Course

20/6/2016

We are delighted that Athletics Ireland have agreed to run the Athletics Leader training course in Irishtown Stadium on the 02nd July 10:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs.

This is a great opportunity to start your coaching qualifications in Athletics.

Please email John Caird= jnrcru@gmail.com if you are interested.  It would be great for the club to have more certified coaches so a positive response would be great.

Dublin Championships

13/6/2016

Our u19 Boys relay team won gold in in the dull, wet weather of Santry on Friday evening.

Sam Bolger got a gold in the u17 boys 400m. He had a brilliant race, ahead of the rest of the boys, and he clung on until the very end, crossing the line first.

A big congratulations to the Brown sisters, Sarah and Lindsey, who won gold and bronze in the u15 girls shot put. Sarah and Lindsey also came second and fourth in javelin.  Also in the u15 girls, Lauren Kirwan made the final for the 200m, and finished fifth.

Aaron Linton got a haul of medals including bronze in the u15 boy's shot put.

A great result for Crusaders in the u14 boy's hurdles thanks to Luke O'Loughlin and Paul Kobas , who took silver and bronze.

Michelle Isong won gold in the u13 girl's shot put.  Well done to Conor Napper who finished fourth in the u12 boy's high jump, qualifying for Nationals.

Well done to all our athletes who competed in the Dublin Championships, and good luck to everyone competing in Nationals.
